Why join Directions?
We’re member-owned and not-for-profit. That means we can offer better rates, fewer fees and more affordable financial services. Once you’re a member of Directions, you can take advantage of all the benefits that come along with that membership.
how to join
Directions Credit Union is a community-based credit union, which means membership is open to nearly everyone in the Toledo and Central Ohio areas.
If you live, work, worship, attend school or volunteer in the following counties in Ohio: Crawford, Wood, Fulton, Lucas, Ashland, Huron, Knox, Richland, Wayne, and Tuscarawas, plus, in lower Michigan – Monroe County & Lenawee County – you are eligible for membership.
Your family members – grandparents, parents, spouse, siblings, children, grandchildren and household members – are also eligible to join. And once they’ve done so, their family members are also eligible for membership.

Best banking experience ever
“Directions was there for the financing of my daughter’s car, which started her great credit history. Directions was there when we built our Villa—they held our hand every step of the way—then were there to help us refinance it at the lowest rate possible. Directions is always there when you need them. The staff are the best around, always willing to help with a smile on their face. Absolutely LOVE Directions.”
