Protecting Members and Employees During the COVID-19 Outbreak

Updated 4.20.20

Directions continues to work hard to serve our members during this difficult time. Like you, we are closely monitoring the ongoing developments related to the coronavirus and remain focused on the well-being of our members and employees.

Economic Stimulus Payments

Congress passed the CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act) in March 2020, making many U.S. taxpayers eligible for a tax rebate from the federal government. Eligible recipients may receive the rebate directly through a deposit into the bank account used on their tax return. Other eligible recipients may receive a check.

For the most up-to-date information including whether you’re eligible, how you’ll get paid and when you’ll receive payment, visit “Get My Payment”.

If you receive a rebate check, and you have a Directions Credit Union account, you can deposit your check at one of our drive-thru locations or skip the line and deposit your check using the night drop box, one of our conveniently located ATMs, or with our remote check deposit tool located on our Mobile App.

Directions lobbies will be open “by appointment only” beginning

Thursday, March 19, 2020

Drive-thru service will remain open

Drive-thru hours have returned to normal Drive-thru hours for each branch office

Why are we making this change?

The risk of the spread of infection between members standing in line waiting for service or between employees and members being served will grow assuming COVID-19 becomes more prevalent in our communities. Making this change to limit lobby traffic will greatly lessen that risk, and also complies with government guidance to limit groups of 10 or more persons.

Will other services still be available?

Our online and mobile banking services are available for members who want to check balances, transfer money, pay bills and apply for a loan or credit card. Your cash needs can be taken care of at an ATM or in our drive-thrus.

Directions payments and deposits can be placed in the night drop 24 hours a day. This is a good option if you only need to deposit a check and don’t want to wait in the drive-thru line.

If you need to talk with a member service representative call our contact center at 888-508-2228.
